雅思口語趨勢(shì)分析和備考指導(dǎo)
繼2016年5月第一場(chǎng)雅思考試的塵埃落定，新一輪換題的風(fēng)潮又刮起。
縱觀本次換題，作為長(zhǎng)期關(guān)注雅思口語考題的老師來說，非常由衷地想感嘆，“那些熟悉的考題又回來了!”根據(jù)相關(guān)數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計(jì)分析，目前更新過后的題庫比例為新老題約各占一半，即新題為49%，而老題為51%。作為雅思口語考題輪換的規(guī)律，新一輪的題庫范圍仍將由約三分之一的上季度原題，例如：work or study, accommodation, 和hometown等, 和約三分之一的舊題回歸，還有剩余三分之一的純新題組成。從具體考題內(nèi)容分析來看，本次考題仍將保持雅思口語考試的兩大出題特點(diǎn)，分別為：“考題的橫向遷移”以及“生活化特點(diǎn)”。
首先，我們來談一談考題的橫向遷移這一特征。雅思口語考題的橫向遷移指的是同一主題的topic的考察形式出現(xiàn)了互換。例如，之前part 2有一個(gè)topic為“describe your first mobile phone”(描述你的第一部手機(jī))，這本次范圍中，該topic從part 2變成了part 1，不再需要用2分鐘來具體描述一部使用過的手機(jī)，而是考官以幾個(gè)小問題的形式考察考生描述自己當(dāng)前的手機(jī)以及對(duì)手機(jī)的看法。這種變化的方式，在一定程度上滿足了題庫范圍的多樣性，可以防止考生們過渡準(zhǔn)備題庫范圍而使口語考試失去了考察口語能力的意義。不過，從另一方面看來，考題的橫向遷移也意味著“換湯不換藥”，盡管出現(xiàn)在不同的part，但是考察的主題是類似的。所以，也就要求考生們?cè)趥淇紩r(shí)，做到不僅對(duì)于單個(gè)問題的準(zhǔn)備與考慮，而且需要對(duì)于考察的整體有一個(gè)全面的思考。
另外，我們來談一談考題趨勢(shì)的另外一個(gè)特點(diǎn)“生活化”。雅思口語考試一貫以貼近考生的生活場(chǎng)景為特色，而這一特點(diǎn)尤其在5月的題庫范圍中顯得尤為突出。
例如：對(duì)于雅思考試的最大群體——學(xué)生們來說，一些貼近學(xué)生生活范圍的考題，如“校園活動(dòng)”，“想學(xué)的課程”等等也對(duì)應(yīng)出現(xiàn)。從考題比例來看，物品和地點(diǎn)類的比例相對(duì)來說占較低比例，而事件類以及抽象類話題比例居高不下。這是考試官方為了避免考生盲目串題套題的一種有效手段。除了“生活化”這一特點(diǎn)以外，5月趨勢(shì)的另一特點(diǎn)就是“細(xì)節(jié)化”，其表現(xiàn)為考題中的限定詞較多且具體。所以，這就要求考生多留心生活中的細(xì)節(jié)和熱門事物，思考周遭的事物，經(jīng)常性的用英文練習(xí)，及時(shí)解決詞匯表達(dá)方面的障礙。
