托福口語備考中難免會(huì)用到語氣詞，雖然語氣詞不表示實(shí)際意義，不過，如果用的不恰當(dāng)，很影響口語表達(dá)，從而導(dǎo)致低分。

　　表示肯定回答的有：

　　uh-huh, yes, yup, yep, yeah, yea, ay, aye, sure, yah, ya, certainly

　　表示否定回答的有：

　　no, nope, na, naw, nah, uh-uh

　　英語中有一些語氣詞稱為 discourse markers或discourse fillers，掌握這些語氣詞對于英語口語的提高有著非常重要的作用。這些詞本身并沒有太多的意義，主要起到舒緩語氣，給說話者提供思考緊接著的話題的時(shí)間及引出話題等作用。這些詞有oh, well, like, uh and OK(有時(shí)寫成okay) 。

　　Oh

　　一般放在回答句句首，用來表明聽者接受到一些新信息。如：

　　Doctor: I think you’ve probably got what we call dry eyes.

　　Patient: Oh.

　　Oh同常與一些單詞或詞組連用，有時(shí)表明說話人明白了、知道了，如 oh I see, oh right;有時(shí)是對聽到信息的反應(yīng)，如 oh good, oh heavens, or oh no

　　Well

　　well和oh一樣用在回答句的句首，但表達(dá)的意思不一樣，放well在回答句的句首表明說話者認(rèn)為事實(shí)和他的想法與他所停到的不同

　　Like

　　引出別人的話的很通常的方法是用like

　　Uh和Um

　　當(dāng)我們未想好如何用詞時(shí)，常用Uh或Um來避免不說話的尷尬場面

　　Oh my God 或 Oh my gosh

　　這個(gè)短語也非常常用，有時(shí)候簡略為Gosh! 中文意思就是“我的老天!我的上帝!”一般用于表達(dá)驚奇，喜悅，或是憤怒。

　　Gosh! Would you stop screaming like that! People try to study here.

　　Shoot

　　壞了 ! 糟了 ! 在成年人中很常用。

　　e.g. Shoot ! I forgot to buy her a birthday present!

　　Shucks

　　糟糕! 語氣同樣輕松。e.g. Aw shucks ! I bought the wrong size.

　　也可以在表示假謙虛時(shí)用啦。相當(dāng)于偶們說的 "哪里哪里" 。

　　e.g. Aw shucks ! It wasn’t anything. “哪里哪里。那沒什么。”

　　Oops

　　糟糕! 意識到自己犯錯(cuò)時(shí)常用到。"Oups! "

　　e.g. Oops! I locked my key in the car.

　　Crap

　　糟糕 ! 廢話 !

　　Whew/Phew

　　- 表示化險(xiǎn)為夷之后的安心。呦!(好懸呀!)

　　e.g. Whew! That was close! He almost got himself run over by a car.

　　- 表示厭煩的心情。

　　e.g. Phew! It stinks in here ! (好像法語里是Whoof!)

　　Ow/Ouch/Ow-witch

　　表示痛苦的語氣詞啦。

　　e.g. Ouch ! I just burned my finger!

　　Ugh

　　表示恐懼害怕或厭惡。

　　e.g. Ugh ! That is disgusting !!!

　　Yuck

　　呵呵，就是偶們常說的"好惡呀!"。程度比 Ugh! 還要重些。

　　Holy cow

　　表達(dá)驚訝等語氣，意思和Wow!差不多。如：Holy cow! Your new Jag is so cool!(哇!你這輛新美洲虎可真酷!)

　　All right

　　作為感嘆詞，表示贊許，“好啊!”“太棒了!”如："When the guitarist began his solo, the entire audience explodessintosa roaring'All right!'"(當(dāng)吉他手開始獨(dú)奏時(shí)，全場轟鳴，觀眾高喊“太棒了!”)
