1.Ive been trying, but I dont think Im up to this job.
我一直很努力,但我覺得無法勝任這個工作。
2.Ive been here for too long. I want to change my environment.

顧名思義,change是改變、轉(zhuǎn)換的意思,job大家都知道是工作的意思。所以change job就是換一份工作,也就是跳槽的意思。這個詞組通常用在非正式場合,這個詞也能轉(zhuǎn)換成job-changing。相關(guān)例句:
1.I know its not good to change job too frequently, but I have no choice to do for improving my life quality.
我知道太頻繁地?fù)Q工作不好,但為了提高生活質(zhì)量我不得不這樣做。

跳槽的英文:job-hopping
這個是最正式也最常用的跳槽英文表達(dá)。Hop是跳躍的意思,Job hopper指跳槽者,frequent job-hopping指頻繁跳槽。在跳槽面試中,頻繁跳槽的經(jīng)歷應(yīng)該避免介紹,以免讓面試官產(chǎn)生是否該雇傭的疑慮。大多數(shù)時候這個詞指為了眼前的經(jīng)濟(jì)收入等原因更換工作,也可以替換成career hopping。相關(guān)例句:

跳槽的英文:give boss the sack
有些人跳槽只是為了向老板顯示實(shí)力,可以考慮用這個詞,意思是“要炒老板魷魚”。Sack 有“解雇、開除”的意思,通常give you the sack是指老板炒你魷魚,而someone改成老板,就是炒老板魷魚。相關(guān)例句:
1.If my boss won’t give me expected year-end bonus, then I will give him the sack.

“跳槽價值”的英文:jump value
Jump value is the monetary difference between your current salary and what potential employers are courting you with.

This was common in the 1990s with web developers and solution architects when they were switching jobs frequently to have jump values of five figures when all bonuses and incentives were calculated.

This number was often compared against the potential for salary hikes with an existing employer over x years, but also as a way to gauge ones rank or value in the Internet field.
