Equal opportunities and diversity.:The employees of the BMW Group work in different countries on different continents. They are as diverse as you would expect in our globalised modern world. For us, it goes without saying that each employee is treated equally, regardless of their background, age or gender, and is given the same opportunities.
Within the BMW Group, we are particularly aiming for a mixed age structure and to have more women in managerial(管理的) roles. For this latter objective, we have set ourselves specific targets: by the year 2020, we are aiming to increase the number of women in managerial positions from its current figure of 11 to at least 15 per cent. We are also supporting the integration of individuals with disabilities.
We regard the diversity of our employees as one of the BMW Group's particular strengths.
